Dear Pasco Resident and/or Business Owner,
Pasco County could eliminate all the newly imposed park fees (except for the boat launch fees) which include the $2.00 daily parking fees at 11 county parks and $10.00/$5.00 per child per sport per season.
Instead use ad valorem property taxes which would cost $2.12 per $50,000 of assessed property value.
Based on a $100,000 homesteaded you home would pay $2.12.
Would you want us to:
1. Go back to using property taxes.
2. Keep the fees that have been recently added.
